Thanks Rachel. I'm also a big fan of paper and colored pencils. To colleagues, I brand myself as the analogue computer scientist as I am often seen carrying posters to and from meetings :-) The brain intergration is IMHO rather subtle and it only occurred to me after using the technique for some months. I think it is perhaps the most important advantage of concept maps.
